Advice: Unlock Pack to purchse + TA comp - Guild Wars Forums

Hi just starting a guild wars , I know kinda late...

2 of my friends might play as well so we are looking to build a 4v4 team.

We're only doing pvp so we're buying the PVP access pack.
We'd like to be pvp ready in 2-3 days so I figure we should buy some unlock packs first before using the 20x unlocks.
Any advice on what packs are the most useful to purchase?

Also what are the strong compositions for 4v4 groups? So we know which chars to build out from the beginning.

Right now i'm playing a warrior and haven't unlocked any skills yet.
It doesn't seem like I can unlock with faction points, until i use my free unlocks.

Any advice appreciated.. you can whisper me ingame as well: Vip jun

You're looking to build a 4v4 PvP team, eh?

I think you should know before you get started that they're shutting down the only organized 4v4 arena (TA) in order to add Sealed Deck.

TA is extremely hard for new players.

Sealed Deck, will be easier but if you don't make the right skill choices... very hard for your team.

What's sealed deck ? is this change official ?

That's pretty interesting, I've seen sealed deck card games , but first time for a pvp mmo

I guess it would take a while longer to be competitive in seal match starting new.. but still not discouraged. So I guess there's really no need to buy unlock packs anymore for pvp.

Anyone have advice, If they had to start from scratch given a pvp access only account, which unlock pack they would buy ? I heard someone mention the item unlock from another thread off topic.
